• Printing - "Perfect" just got sent off the printers! We'll be getting physical proofs back in a few weeks and will share when we have them.

• Kirkus - We have great news! Kirkus, a renowned publishing industry review site, just gave "Perfect" a prestigious Kirkus Starred Review! Here's an excerpt:
Arce’s softly colored illustrations are delightful, giving Scruff a wonderfully expressive face. The art is an excellent match for Loo’s equally delightful story, which never asks readers to pity Scruff; instead, it shows him as a loving pet who just needed to find someone who saw him, quite rightly, as special. An excellent book on finding an ideal pet for one’s family.
We're also collecting other reviews from influencers in the entertainment industry that we'll be revealing soon.

Hi all!
Hope everyone had a great start to 2023! We just wanted to give everyone an update:
• Kirkus - Beverly has finished the art for the book and we just sent the book to renowned industry review magazine, Kirkus, for a review. If the review is positive, it'll be great marketing for the book and we'll place a pull quote on the back cover.
• Printer - The book will then be shipped off to the printer after Kirkus reviews it.
• Supply Chain - Please allow for some extra time for global shipping and supply chain issues.
• Shipping Fees - As we get closer to the shipping date we'll be sending out backer surveys via BackerKit's Pledge Manager to collect shipping fees and have everyone verify their addresses. Hi all,
Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year before 2022 draws to a close. We also have a few updates:
• Beverly ran into deadlines from her job on Spider-Man so we're aiming to finish all the art by the end of January instead of November as previously planned. Thanks for your patience—we wanted to take the extra time to make sure the art is as good as it can be.
• After the book is finished, we'll be sending a copy to renowned industry review magazine, Kirkus, for a review. The book will then be shipped off to the printer after that.

Hi all-
Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We just wanted to send our backers an update on the project. Beverly is working hard on finishing the remaining spreads and should be done by December.
After she finishes, we'll ship off the files to the printers. We'll be in touch then again with an update.
